Please read carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Couran Escape are accepted by us.

How to Book / Quotes and Reservations
Bookings can be made via email to Catherine or by calling Catherine on

+61 (0)4 0004 0266 or +61 (0) 7 3878-4070. Quotes and reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Quotes are valid for seven (7) days. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation.

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 30% must be received by us within seven (7) days of making the booking. Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of these booking conditions.

Final payment
* Full payment is required 14 days prior to check-in.
* For bookings made between 14 and 4 days prior to check-in, full payment is required at time of booking. Cheques will be accepted but must arrive within 72 hours of making the booking.

* For bookings made within 4 days of check-in, full payment is required at time of booking, and only credit card payments will be accepted.

Prices quoted on this site or in any brochure include GST. If deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Confirmation and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the tenant accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation.

Payment Options
Payments accepted include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard only), personal and bank cheques and electronic transfer.

Cancellations
    * Up to 14 days prior to check-in – Loss of deposit
    * Between 14 days and 48 hours prior to check-in – loss of deposit or 50%

       of payment made, whichever is greater
    * Within 48 hours prior to check-in - 100% of cost
These cancellation charges may be waived at our sole discretion.

Amendments to Date or Property
    * Up to 48 hours prior to check in – $50 amendment fee (subject to availability)
    * Within 48 hours prior to check-in – amendments not accepted

Rates Changes
Prices are based on current tariffs in effect on 31 December 2004.

Accommodation
Every effort is made to ensure that the description of facilities and services available is accurate, however we cannot be held liable for omissions or errors.

Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance and/or insurance to cover loss or damage to persons or property as a consequence of your rental of the house.

Booking Arrangements
The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. Your booking for accommodation is subject to final confirmation by us. We reserve the right to cancel the booking (or part of it) within 48 hours of receiving your initial payment by notifying you by phone or email. Bookings made less than 48 hours in advance are accepted subject to availability and at our discretion.

Documentation
Will be forwarded by post or email when full payment is received.

Responsibility
We both for ourself and on behalf of our employees or agents do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of ourselves or our employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever or however the same may be caused and we do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given.

Access to other properties on the Island is subject to the terms and conditions as published by the property operators as modified from time to time.

We will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.

Limitation of Liability
We give no express warranty in relation to the state of repair, condition or fitness for use of a boat if supplied or provided as part of the accommodation package. Certain conditions and warranties are implied by statute, whether Commonwealth or State, which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Where we are permitted to limit our liability under those statutes for breach of an implied condition or warranty we so limit that liability. All other warranties, conditions and other obligations which may be otherwise implied are expressly excluded in their entirety. We are not liable to you for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages relating to this Agreement.

Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, we accept no liability or responsibility for loss, damage, injury to property or persons whatsoever arising out of or as a consequence of your use of a boat or mooring facilities. You will be responsible for and liable to us in respect of any damage suffered to the boat, if supplied, as a consequence of your use of the same whether caused by your deliberate or negligent act or otherwise.

In these conditions:
“We”, “us”, “our” means owners of Couran Escape or our agents. Boat” means aluminum runabout, if supplied.
